A passionate professional with 19 years serving communities and vulnerable groups including 11 years as Director of Mental Health NGO- Estuar Foundation. Experience in organizational and project management, mental health services development, national and international partnerships development, human rights, social entrepreneurship, and advocacy in mental health field.
Starting with 2014, she was involved through the foundation she runs, Estuar, in different European projects to promote mental health at all levels including workplace, awarness campaigns for social inclusion of people with mental health problems, innovative actions regarding the development of mental health community based services and in programs to create trainings and educational tools that bring mental health topic to the forefront.
Amedeea has an educational background in Social Innovation and management @ Competence Center for Nonprofit Organizations and Social Entrepreneurship of Vienna University for Economics and Business (2022), Sustainable development @ Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota as a Fulbright Alumni (2020-2021), Anthropology @ S.N.S.P.A Bucharest, Project Management and Economics @A.S.E. Bucharest. Between 2014 and 2020 she was a Board member of Mental Health Europe.
