Gina Perier (DK/FR)

Hi, my name is Gina, I am 27, half french half italian, born and raised in Paris. I went to the architecture school in Paris (La Villette) straight after highschool. After my bachelor, I went for an internship for a year in an architecture office COBE, in Copenhagen (DK), where I met my friend Alexander. I did my masters at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen and while Alexander and I were graduating, in 2017, we started working together as architects for Roskilde Festival. We were designing installations together and then building them in a few days with a team of 10 people. It was an amazing experience where we got to know more about logistics and crowd behavior in festivals. Together, we observed the lack of facilities for womxn to pee, and from that summer we started thinking about a solution. In may 2019, for the first time, 30 Lapee were in the streets of Copenhagen for the festival Distortion. Today we have Lapee available for rent in 12 different countries!
