Laurențiu Ion is a professional in marketing, media and communication with over 13 years of experience in fields such as retail, advanced technology or FMCG.
He’s currently the Head of Digital and Media at PepsiCo Romania and an Associate Lecturer at University of Bucharest, where he teaches Advertising.
In the last 7 years, he has been on the front line of digital transformation in some companies or NGOs, successfully coordinating in particular the innovation agendas in marketing and communication.
Laurențiu is also a writer, his most recent book being “Corporația norilor” (Curtea Veche Publishing, 2019). His articles and essays about the ever-closer relationship between people and technology appeared in magazines such as The New York Times, Forbes or Decât o Revistă.
