Raluca Rugina is a Senior Architect and Strategic Design Consultant with over 25 years of experience in architecture, spatial design and complex projects. In 2006, she founded Masterplan Design, an architecture and design company, where she developed projects from concept and design through technical development, permitting and approvals, construction and site supervision. She later expanded the company into the live events sector, bringing her expertise in architecture and design into event production.
Since 2008, she has developed and produced live events and cultural projects, working across creative concepts, spatial design, site planning and production management. Her experience includes projects and productions such as Tiamat and Samael, as well as many more projects across the live events and cultural landscape. She also worked on collaborative 3D site design for ARTmania, as well as site and stage design and lighting plots for Rockstadt. In parallel, she conceived and produced cultural and lifestyle events including Burgerfest, Craft Beer Festival, Whisky Fest and Zaiafest.
Alongside her entrepreneurial work, she spent two years as Event Production Manager at eMAGIC, contributing to AWAKE Festival and major concert productions within complex and multidisciplinary live event environments.
Having worked on both sides of the process, from concept and design through construction, production and audience experience, Raluca brings a distinctive perspective that connects creative vision with the technical, spatial, human and production realities of bringing complex ideas to life.
