Svet Nunev is a London-based promoter at Gotobeat, one of the fastest-growing independent promotion agencies in the UK. Over the past two years, Gotobeat has organised more than 1,500 shows across the UK and 12 European countries, showcasing emerging talent from 16 nations spanning music, comedy, and theatre. Within the company, Svet plays a pivotal role in fostering strategic partnerships with other independent promoters, venues, and artist management bodies. Through these collaborations, he has built a powerful network dedicated to supporting talent and facilitating mid-sized international shows and tours
Beyond promoting, Svet brings deep creative industry expertise to his work. Between 2010 and 2016, he worked as a music writer, specialising in pop music and film music production for international artists, film, and media producers.
Originally from Sofia, Bulgaria, Svet has lived and worked in the UK for the past 14 years. His career focuses on fostering talent across both the UK and the Balkan regions, specialising in promoting Balkan artists throughout Europe and introducing international acts to Central and Eastern European markets. Svet’s dedication to exporting Balkan music began during his time as a Trade & Investment intern at the British Embassy in Sofia in 2015, when he first began developing strategies to bridge the cultural and commercial markets between the UK and the Balkans.
