I am Daria Costiuc, Video and Audience Development Manager at Believe Music for the Romanian market, with four years of experience in the music industry. I’ve been part of Believe’s team for the past two and a half years, following my previous role at Global Records, where I worked as a Digital Executive. Additionally, my academic experience in London helped broaden my perspective on management practices and the importance of embracing diversity in order to deliver the best results—an essential aspect in the ever-evolving and complex music industry. Success in this field requires not only proactive strategies and a deep understanding of the landscape, but also the ability to foster inclusion and create space for everyone to contribute meaningfully.
In my current role, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with many talented and passionate individuals who, like me, share a deep love for music. This environment has opened doors for me to step into the world of music festivals, where I’ve had the chance to meet international artists and tour managers. Major events like Untold and Neversea have played a key role in expanding my network and deepening my understanding of artist and label relations.
Beyond my full-time involvement in the music industry, I’ve also founded an NGO – Kindness In Motion (KIM) – which focuses on helping animals in Romanian zoos and farms. Our mission aims to be supported primarily through music events and donations, driven by the belief that a shared love for music and animals can bring people together for a greater cause.
