Irina Marinescu (RO)

Irina likes to think that she didn’t choose the music industry, it chose her. A graduate of the Master’s Degree in Specialized Translation, she realized she needed a more dynamic environment and ended up doing an internship at Rock FM, which turned into a full-time job. Being an inquisitive and ambitious nature, she decided to take a few more steps and learn more about how the industry works. That’s how she ended up in booking, first at BandBook, and as of this year at Forward Agency. Among her biggest accomplishments is “Punk Apocalypse,” a mini festival dedicated to the local punk scene, which took place on February 9 at Quantic. She hopes to organize as many events as possible dedicated to local artists from various musical spheres, and perhaps build a brand and support system for local bands and artists.
