Denisa Dan is a cultural manager and coordinator of Jazz in the Park, an award-winning European festival. She began her journey as a volunteer and grew together with the event, helping transform it into a cultural platform dedicated to community and discovery through music.
“I believe cultural events are not just about music, but about the communities that form around them, the experiences that shape us, and the connections created between places, artists, and audiences. As a cultural manager, my aim is to build a framework where music becomes more than an artistic act, it becomes a context that brings people together. For me, Jazz in the Park is a powerful example of how a festival can shift perceptions and truly contribute to the community it belongs to.”
