Ada Galeș is an actress at the National Theatre in Bucharest, but her presence is not limited to the stage. She enjoys projects that challenge, that bring about change, that ask questions without rushing the answers. At times, she takes her curiosity beyond theatre, as a speaker at conferences on society, culture, and women, or as a facilitator of conversations about the way we live, look at ourselves, and understand one another.
She received the UNITER Award for Best Debut in 2016 and performs both on the TNB stage and in other theatres across the country. In cinema, she has appeared in films such as The New Year That Wasn’t (dir. Bogdan Mureșanu), presented at the Venice Biennale, Zero Inside (dir. Eugen Jebeleanu), Perfect Strangers (dir. Octavian Strunilă), among others.
She believes that art, no matter how personal, always has a collective impact.
