I currently work at the Institute for Crime Research and Prevention within the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police. I have 13 years of experience in law enforcement, nearly seven of which have been dedicated to crime prevention.
My academic background focuses on understanding human behavior and the dynamics of the digital environment. I graduated from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Bucharest and completed a master’s degree at the Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, also at the University of Bucharest.
My master’s thesis (2019) examined the phenomenon of fake news and strategies for mitigating the impact of misinformation on social media. This research gave me a deeper understanding of the psychological manipulation and social engineering techniques commonly used in today’s online environment.
