Adina Popescu (RO)

Co-Founder, Sync About It

Adina is a seasoned professional in the music & culture industries with over 10 years of experience in event & project management, booking, artist services, advertising and others. She is one of the co-founders of Sync About It – Music Conference & Songwriting Camp, the first conference in CEE with focus only on music sync, where she is highly multi-tasking. The event is designed to build a bridge across European music segments and professionals who can benefit from sync, hence encouraging international cooperation through the circulation of music and good practices.

Adina has extensive experience managing music-focused projects for major brands and events. As a Project Manager within leading advertising agencies, she oversaw high-profile campaigns for clients such as Mastercard, Pepsi, and major music festivals including Neversea, SAGA, and Massif—where music was a core component of brand strategy and audience engagement. Additionally, she has worked with most of Romania’s prominent film festivals, including a five-year collab with Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF), where she handled all music bookings.

Most recently, Adina has taken on Comms & Social Media for Control Club, one of Romania’s leading venues, with a focus on live acts – but not limited. She also stepped into artist management representing +SHE+, a bold, woman-led musical project from Romania. Her journey in the music industry began with organizing DIY concerts, evolved into working as a Promoter, and now continues with hosting Sqweez!, a vibrant queer techno party series.
