Dany Serrano is a Bucharest-based musician and songwriter from Spain, best known as the lead guitarist in Romanian alternative band byron, as well as the lead singer and guitarist in alt-rock combo Claro Que No. As a session musician, he has performed and toured with a wide array of Romanian and international artists across all genres, including Lidia Buble, EMAA, Valeria Stoica, Ioana Ignat or Drew Davies, to name a few.
Dany spent much of his adult life in London, where he was the co-founder and guitarist of The Mercy House – a band in which he played a key role in taking them from local pubs to the stages of Download Festival and Bloodstock Open Air, sharing bills with Aerosmith, Linkin Park, Alice Cooper or Avenged Sevenfold while remaining a fully independent act.
As a marketing and PR specialist, he has worked with both major and independent labels as well as film studios in the UK and Europe, working on campaigns for acts including Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and The Eagles. He is also a former journalist and photographer, with his work published in the likes of Kerrang! and Metal Hammer.
