Maria Romana Francesca Trainini began her career in London, gaining valuable experience working with Virgin Music and Chrysalis. During her time in the UK, she developed a deep understanding of the music industry and honed her skills in various aspects of music publishing and management.
Returning to Italy in the late 1980s, Francesca founded and managed Oyez Srl, a company she successfully led for several years. Her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to the music industry paved the way for her current role as Managing Director of peermusic Italy and Peer Southern Productions. In this capacity, she also represents peermusic on the SIAE Advisory Board, contributing her expertise to shape the future of music rights management in Italy.
Francesca’s passion for the publishing industry is evident in her active involvement with several prominent associations and trade bodies. She is the President of IMPALA, the leading organisation representing independent music companies in Europe. Additionally, she is a committed participant in both Italian and international organisations, including PMI Italia, IMPF, and FEM. Through her work with these groups, she strives to advocate for the rights and interests of music publishers and creators, fostering a more equitable and vibrant music industry.
