Someone said events are about people. The people who imagine them, build them and shape every detail behind the scenes and the people who show up on the other side, in front of the stage. Great events happen when those two worlds collide, turning ideas into emotions and productions into unforgettable experiences. And that someone is George Carabelea.
Driven by this philosophy, George has spent more than 15 years creating and producing events that connect audiences, artists, brands and communities. From intimate concepts to some of Romania’s largest festivals and live productions, his focus has always been the same, building events that leave a lasting impact on everyone involved.
George has produced hundreds of events across the entertainment, music and brand experience sectors, developing a reputation for transforming ambitious ideas into large-scale productions. His portfolio includes landmark projects such as Beach, Please!, which he helped build from the ground up into Romania’s largest urban music festival, as well as NIBIRU, one of the most ambitious new concepts in the region.
He has also led the production of major events including Europa FM – Live pe Plajă, Liberty Parade, The Motans – Grand Concert, Carla’s Dreams – Nocturn, 5GANG National Tour and numerous large-scale projects for artists, brands and promoters.
At Mastering the Music Business, George will pull back the curtain on the realities of the live events business, from the challenges and pressure behind major productions to the countless details audiences never get to see. He will share practical insights into what it takes to build a career in the industry and what professionals need to consider when working in live entertainment today.
