Maik Pallasch began his career in the music business in 1996 in the A&R and marketing department of Motor Music under the Polygram umbrella. After graduating from University of Hamburg, Maik Pallasch moved to Toronto, Canada, and handled the promotion and marketing activities of Electro Synth Pop label Suction Records. He then moved to Berlin at the end of 2003 to help build up the publishing company and affiliated labels at B612 Publishing, taking over as head of B612’s publishing arm in 2005 and moving to Sony/ATV as Senior Manager A&R and Creative in 2008. In October 2011, Maik Pallasch joined BMG initially as Vice President German Repertoire, rising to Managing Director GSA in 2014. After six years at BMG, Pallasch left to join Spotify as Head Of Shows & Editorial. In 2018, he took over as Head Of Music GSA, overseeing all music functions at Spotify.  In 2021, he decided to work more closely with artists and labels again and joined the Orchard. He has been responsible for managing and developing the Central & Eastern European region as Managing Director at The Orchard ever since.
