With a rich, emotional voice and a deep connection to Bulgaria’s folk tradition, Radostina Nikolova stands out as one of the most captivating young performers on the contemporary folklore scene.

Born in Sofia in 1995, she inherited her love for traditional music from her grandmother—a renowned folk singer whose name she proudly carries. From an early age, she trained under the guidance of the legendary Guna Ivanova.

In 2019, Radostina took part in her first ethno project with the song “Himera”, performed alongside Trio Bulgarina, which gained wide acclaim and topped multiple music charts. Over the years, she has also collaborated with ensembles such as the “Chinari” Dance Ensemble and the world-famous choir The Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices. She has represented Bulgaria on stages across Italy, Finland, Slovakia, Greece, North Macedonia, and Serbia.

Among her notable achievements is winning the Second Prize at Pirin Folk 2021 with her original song “Idvai, libe”, which was followed two years later by the First Prize for “Pirinska dusha”. Her most recent ethno projects, “Dei moma, dei” and “Samodiva”, further showcase her commitment to blending tradition with innovation.

Today, Radostina continues to honor Bulgarian folklore through her performances of traditional songs, while embracing her mission of bringing Bulgaria’s musical heritage to a wider audience through fresh, modern ethno interpretations.
