Zsolt Szabó is a live event production professional with more than a decade of experience, primarily working in Hungary while also gaining extensive experience on international projects across concerts, festivals, arena-scale productions and major events. His career has taken him from touring with Hungarian artists and working in festival production to managing large-scale productions and international events, giving him experience across multiple sides of the live entertainment industry.
He currently works as a Production Manager at Broadway Events, Hungary’s largest independent concert promoter, where he is involved in producing arena-scale shows and tours for both Hungarian and international artists, from initial production planning and advancing through to on-site execution. He also works as a freelance Stage Manager on live productions.
In 2026, alongside his role at Broadway Events, Zsolt returned to Sziget Festival as a Production Coordinator, where he was responsible for coordinating artists’ additional production requirements beyond the festival’s standard technical packages. Working closely with artists, production teams and service providers, he helped oversee the delivery of these requirements across the festival site.
Prior to joining Broadway Events, Zsolt spent seven months in Japan last year as Senior Event Manager at the Hungarian Pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka, where he was responsible for the planning and delivery of events and programmes within the pavilion. His previous experience includes working as part of the venue team at Puskás Aréna Budapest, where he was involved in the delivery of major events including UEFA EURO 2020 matches and large-scale concerts, as well as Stage Management roles at major festivals including Sziget, Electric Castle and Balaton Sound.
His goal is to bring together his experience in stage and production management to help create well-organised, smooth and memorable experiences for artists, audiences and production teams.
