Tobi Ibitoye is a pop-dance music artist born in Nigeria but settled in Romania since the age of 15, when he moved with his family to the country. He completed his studies at the Cambridge School in Bucharest, obtaining a diploma in biology. However, his passion for music was always close to his soul, being introduced to religious music as a child and studying the violin with his mother, a professional violinist.
Tobi’s first musical success happened in 2015, when he became a finalist at “Vocea Romaniaiei”, a fact that brought him a contract with an independent music label and thus released his first single, “Miss You”. The following year, Forbes Romania names him among the youngest influential men in Romania (under the age of 30).
In 2018, the artist’s song “Loving Me” became a mega hit on the American iHeart radio, but at the same time entered various charts on local radio stations. Other internationally well-received releases follow, such as “Faith”, “Himalayas”, “Sun”, or “Rain Down Fire”.
