Carmen Uscatu (RO)

She started volunteering in her free time, alongside her marketing position within a corporation. Afterwards she founded Dăruiește Viață / Give Life Association with her longtime friend, Oana Gheorghiu, wanting to radically change the way children with cancer are treated in Romania. She believes one needs to be courageous to challenge the status quo, because there is no one else to do that for you – she applies this principle in her daily activity as well as in her professional tasks.
